You will get a foundation for classic spa treatments in this NCBTMB approved course that will make you a marketable employee AND boost your sales if you are a solo practitioner. What I love most about classic spa treatmets is beyond the value—these practices SAVE YOUR HANDS from fatigue and support muscle relief and recovery from injury.
The course will review the efficacy and health benefits of classic European and Asian spa treatments which are most marketable in the industry. These skills will provide the therapist with a broad base of knowledge that will allow them to build upon more complex treatments as they grow in the field. Topics will include history, scope of practice, communications and soft skills in the spa environment, SOAP charting and client communication in the spa environment, hospitality skills, kinesiology review, and physiology of the lymphatic system, contraindications, body mechanics and self-care in high paced work environments, resume skills. Treatments will include but not be limited to: Massage using Salts Body Wraps Thai massage tools Stone Massage Face Massage Lymphatic Drainage Hydrotherapy.
16 hours of hands on training and NCBTMB approved credit hours

Dates: March 27th-28th 2027, Saturday and Sunday
Times: 9am-6pm, 12-1:00 lunch
What to bring: 2 sets of sheets for each day, blanket, pillow or bolster, oil
