2026 Scholarship Winners

Cheyanne was awarded the Mt. Shasta Scholarship for 2026

Cheyanne Fisch, LMT

“My name is Cheyanne. I am currently working for Medical Massage and Acupuncture in Chehalis WA, I found massage in an interesting turn of my life, I jumped into the deep end by signing up for massage school and was in the class room all within two weeks, and I haven’t looked back.

Massage has brought a whole new perspective to my life that I get to explore!

I haven’t honed in on exactly what modality I want to focus on, as I’m still a baby in this career, but I am excited to see what the future of massage brings and who I get to meet along the way!”

Danielle Hillard, LMT

Danielle earned the Mt. Tahoma and Mt. Constitution scholarships for 2026

Hi, I’m Danielle, the heart behind Root & Rise Healing. My journey into massage therapy began through my own experiences with pain, healing, and learning to reconnect with my body. Through that journey, I discovered the powerful impact that compassionate, intentional touch can have on both the body and mind.

As a massage therapist, I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where each client feels seen, heard, and cared for. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed, integrative bodywork, combining therapeutic techniques with an intuitive and compassionate touch. Every session is tailored to meet your individual needs, whether you are seeking relief from pain and tension, stress reduction, relaxation, or a deeper connection with your body.

I believe that true healing begins when we feel safe enough to slow down, listen to our bodies, and give ourselves permission to receive care. My goal is to support you wherever you are in your journey and create space for restoration, balance, and healing.

Root & Rise Healing was created from the belief that we all deserve the opportunity to rebuild our foundation, reconnect with our strength, and rise into the fullest version of ourselves. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients and support them on their path toward healing.

Ryan Pike, LMT

Ryan earned the Mt. Constitution Scholarship for 2026

Ryan Pike is a part-time body wellness practitioner, ecological wellness advocate, wine enthusiast, and environmental specialist with a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing and community connection. Originally graduating as a Certified Massage Therapist in 2012 from the Mountain Heart School of Bodywork in Crested Butte, Colorado. Ryan has spent years cultivating an intuitive bodywork practice and expanding her education in bodywork and beyond. Driven by a lifelong love for the outdoors, sustainability, and mindful living, she later expanded her expertise by earning degrees in Enology, Viticulture, Business Administration, and Agricultural Business. Her diverse career path most recently includes serving as a Clean Water Program Specialist, beautifully blending hands-on conservation with community outreach.

Originally from Gunnison, Colorado, Ryan has lived in six different states across the country. She is currently preparing to move back home to Colorado from Washington to be closer to her family, friends, and the peaceful embrace of the Rocky Mountains. An explorer at heart, Ryan loves to travel the world to experience local food styles, traditions, culture, and wine regions. She has traveled to about 20 countries so far for backpacking, exploring, and yoga retreats, and she cannot wait to see more.

When she is not practicing massage therapy, Ryan loves to be outside hiking, biking, gardening, and rafting. Her seven-year-old Aussie, Piñon Pine, is her absolute best adventure buddy and comes along for every ride. On days spent inside, she enjoys practicing yoga, reading, cooking, and experimenting with food preservation.

As a delighted recipient of the Camp Dreamscape Scholarship, Ryan is returning to her foundational roots in wellness and bodywork, ultimately aiming to help others slow down, recharge, and heal as she steps onto this exciting path ahead.
