Looking Ahead with Intention

As this year comes to a close, I return to a ritual I’ve come to love: reflecting on what’s next.

As an entrepreneur, I’m energized by creation. New ideas, fresh possibilities, and the spark of something just beginning are what keep me inspired. This year, that inspiration came in abundance. I had the privilege of meeting incredible massage therapists, leaders, teachers, and speakers—people whose passion and dedication renewed my own motivation to keep teaching and to thoughtfully expand what I offer.

The start of a new year always brings perspective. It’s a natural pause point to notice what worked, what didn’t, and what lessons are worth carrying forward. That clarity helps me refine my path and step into the next chapter with intention rather than momentum alone.

I invite you to do the same. Take time to reconnect with the moments that sparked your excitement—the work that felt aligned, the ideas that truly clicked. Let those guide you. Do more of what nourishes your curiosity, your purpose, and your sense of meaning.

I’m approaching 33 years in the massage and bodywork profession, having begun this journey just out of high school. This coming May, I’ll be embarking on my second master’s degree to deepen my knowledge and strengthen my ability to teach movement therapy alongside massage. Lifelong learning remains central to my work and my identity.

As we move into the year ahead, I invite you to learn alongside me. If you’re curious about slowing down, listening more deeply, and refining your touch, my Craniosacral Exploratory Class in Tacoma, WA offers a gentle, low-pressure space to explore subtle work and deepen awareness. And if you’re craving restoration, connection, and time to learn in a natural setting, Camp Dreamspace on Orcas Island, WAis an opportunity to step away from the noise, refill your cup, and remember why you were drawn to this work in the first place.

I would love to welcome you to class and these experiences as part of your next chapter.

With love and gratitude for you and your journey,
Essie
