Frequently asked questions.
How many people are in your classes?
I keep class sizes small, from 4-8 up to 12-16, preferring even numbers to avoid three per table. Working full-time as a massage therapist, small classes let me prepare materials and give individual attention.
Do you travel?
Yes. I am nationally certified to teach massage by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I can travel to your location if you have students enrolled and the travel costs are reasonable.
Do you mentor massage therapists?
Yes, this looks like a coaching relationship, and I bill for time. You can hire me as an individual or for a group.
What are your classes like?
I tailor my classes by sending a detailed questionnaire beforehand to understand each group’s learning style and preferences. I provide both digital and printed materials, included in the course fee for you to keep. Breaks follow the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork rules. Lunch is not part of class time. For an 8-hour course, you get 8 hours of focused teaching.
My courses cover important information and include resources for extra learning. You can contact me anytime after class with questions. I keep classes engaging and clear, encouraging curiosity while staying on topic. With over 20 years of teaching massage therapists, I use proven methods to keep things engaging and fun. I often get comments that the time flies by!
My goal is that after one of my courses you will be able to put your new skills to work right away.
I welcome feedback and always try to improve my courses.
